DELTA glasses are inspired by models from the 80’s and 90’s.

Miguel Indurain becomes the last of the biggest champions. It is the beginning for a Russian, Berzin, and the only time for the pirate, Pantani, who is responsible for a rebirth in the passion for Italian cycling.
The material of the frames is Tr90, made from nylon and carbon fiber, organically compatible and safe to the skin, even after a prolonged use. It is 20% lighter that other conventional materials and it offers more protection against crashes and tractions. It provides a high resilience without deformation when exposed to high temperatures, after being bent, it reverts to its original shape.

The glasses wearability allows a perfect vision when shifting your eyes from the pedals to the road. This particular aspect enables the athlete to stay focused on his performance without interferences. The temples are strong and guarantee to stay put even in case of shocks or sudden head movements.

A-LENS

DELTA uses A-LENS made from scratch resistant polycarbonate base 6 non-centered to enable a fixed vision without side deformation. Their curve covers an optical cone of 180°, allowing an excellent protection against the wind and strong light, that often reflects on other sunglasses creating an eye blinding effect. The shock absorbent, unbreakable material provides an excellent resilience.

Gears were almost always Campagnolo. Tubing, you could be sure was Columbus. Legs, like the bikes, were made of steel. The Ferro, as old Italian cyclists called the steel bicycle, was splendid with colors that smelled of spray paint, shiny pantographed shifters on the downtube and long looping cables sprouting from the brake levers.
These cyclists expected nothing more than to watch the riders pass, especially those from the North. Riders like Jan Raas, The Flying Dutchman, who won many one-day races. Even today, he is the fourth most successful classics rider of all-time behind the Belgians Eddy Merckx, Roger de Vlaeminck and Rik Van Looy.
Ferro is born of that era. It’s metal finish recalls the steel of the bikes, the brown tortoise shell acetate tips recall the leather saddle, and the rainbow flag detail was found on most bicycles of the time.
